RHINOPLASTY Rhinoplasty or 'Nose Job' is a procedure to correct or improve upon the nose and achieve its desired shape. It may be done for improvement upon the features inherited since birth or for deformity of nose following injury, infection or other causes. It involves the aesthetic correction of shape of nose as well as functional correction for difficulty in breathing through nose due to blockage. Rhinoplasty can be done by open or closed rhinoplasty approach depending on the surgical exposure required. A good rhinoplasty incorporates the patient's desires as well as the surgeon's aesthetic judgement to achieve the best possible result.
